My name is Glenys Lindsay and as an experienced Celebrant, I specialize in creating, designing and writing the perfect Ceremony for you which will be special, memorable and exclusively for you. 

Your Ceremony

Ceremonies are a special part of our lives and each one touches our lives in very different ways.  No two ceremonies should ever be the same as each is very specific and personal by nature. Together, through consultation, we will ensure every detail of your ceremony meets all of your expectations.  My priority is to put your needs first so you feel very comfortable at all times during the planning and the end result is your ceremony sounds like it has come from your heart and soul. 

You can have peace of mind knowing that all elements of your Ceremony will be exactly as you outlined and designed.  On the day of your ceremony you have so many other things to think about, the ceremony itself doesn't need to be one of those things.

Performing your ceremony is both an honour and a privilege.

About Your Celebrant

I am a registered New Zealand Marriage Celebrant as appointed by the Department of Internal Affairs pursuant to section 10 of the Marriage Act 1955.) In addition I am an Ordained Minister, which allows me the option of presenting weddings at any venue within New Zealand or within a Church.

I successfully completed a Certificate of Celebrant studies from AUT (Auckland University of Technology) and am a registered member of The Celebrants Association of New Zealand (Inc) - CANZ

In my personal life I take every opportunity that presents itself and my philosophy is to get out there and live every day to the fullest.  My family is my greatest joy.  I have an adult daughter and son and their partners families, and in addition two beautiful Rag Doll cats who are very spoiled. Creating special experiences for us all to share in is a particular passion of mine. Over and above my family I love curling up with a good book when I have the time, meeting and learning about people, designing and making clothes, and music! 

It was my love for all people that first endeared me to become a Celebrant. I genuinely love helping people, and because I want each couple to experience their perfect day exactly how they imagine, I work with them to ensure that this becomes a reality. Every person is unique, every culture is unique, and this inspires me to design and create a Ceremony which will reflect your own individuality.
